I am a huge fan of Whey Protein Powder for it’s filling high protein content and low calorie and low fat properties.
Here’s my favorite easy recipe, and often my breakfast or mid-morning snack:
- 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder- try to stick with the powders that are under 120 calories per scoop
- 1 cup water
- 5 ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons non-fat strawberry Greek yogurt, OR Activia Strawberry Light Yogurt
- 5 frozen strawberries
- 1/4 frozen banana(I keep these pre-cut in my freezer)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend/crush until completely frothy without any ice pieces. Drink immediately; reserving for later will cause the shake to separate.
