I am not a fan of New Year’s Resolutions.
I will never understand why we WAIT until January 1 when chances are, we already know exactly what our resolutions, goals, and hopes are for the future.
Think about it; you probably already know exactly what is going to be at the top of your list of goals for 2017.
How many years has “losing weight,” or “getting in shape,” been on your list of New Year’s resolutions?
So why wait until January 1?
If you start TODAY, you have four weeks in front of you to feel and look fabulous.
So, why wait?
Waiting gives us permission to hold off on what we say we really want, because it feels too hard or we’ve failed too many times, and we have no reason to believe that this time will be different.
Plus, it gives us permission to overindulge because “it’s the holidays…” which sets us back further come the first of the month, no matter what our goals are.
It doesn’t have to be that way. You can choose a different outcome for yourself, and there is only ONE thing you need to do:
You need to DO something.
Thinking about losing weight is not doing.
Only DOING something about losing weight is going to get you what you want.
My mission is for you to wake up on January 1st, 2017 and NOT put “starting a new diet” on your list of resolutions, because you are already on your way and look and feel fabulous, in control, and accomplished.
